As most of you know, it is December and 2014 is on it's way! So, it is time to recap my favorite and least favorite books of 2013!
The Best Books published in 2013:
Wow, the covers, quite oddly, color coordinate. Apparently blue, red, and yellow covers are signs of a great book!
The Best Books I Read in 2013... but were published earlier:
The Worst Books I read in 2013: (published in a variety of years)
So, there is my little recap of the best and worst books of the year! Also, I discovered I like books with blue and gold covers!!!
What books made your list?
I loved Before I Fall too. Haven't read any of the others.
ReplyDeleteBefore I Fall was awesome :)
DeleteFangirl is my favorite of 2013 and The Program is up there on my list, too. I've only read one Lauren Barnholdt book, I can't remember the name, but I was not impressed. Looks like her other books might not be worth checking out either.
ReplyDeleteFangirl was AMAZING! Also, I have to say Lauren Barnholdt has not managed to awe me with any of her books :(
DeleteYAY, The False Prince, I love that book. its my number 1 best
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books on your best lists! :O I'll have to get on that!
ReplyDeleteFrom the ones above I've only read The False Prince and I really loved it. I must check out the other books from your list
ReplyDeleteI loved the false prince. I was told about Signifigance and I was laughing so hard. Its like the Twilight movies, they're so bad you just have to watch them.
ReplyDeleteI love how many fairy tale retellings you loved this year - sadly I've only read Fairest of Them All. Before I Fall was so. good. I was not expecting it to be that good! I don't generally have high expectations of contemporary YA...luckily it's meant for the most part I'm totally taken aback by how strong contemporary YA has become as a genre. Buuuuut then I run into another one like Two-Way Street, and I remember why I've always been so wary of contemporary YA haha
